(CAT) Catastrophe Adjusting
Veteran Adjusting School graduates are prepared for several types of adjusting but the program focuses on catastrophe adjusting. Why catastrophe adjusting? Because it is by far the most rewarding form of claims adjusting. It has the highest earning potential with CAT adjusters averaging $70k-$100k in 6-9 months. Catastrophe adjusters have plenty of vacation time with 3-6 months off. They are also able to help people who are in desperate need of compensation.
Catastrophe adjusters are self-employed and independently contracted by insurance agencies to assess the damages for their insured customers in regions that have been affected by catastrophic events (hurricane, hailstorm, wildfire, etc.).
However, despite all of the benefits this job provides, it is not an easy job. It takes hard work, dedication, organization, and self-motivation in order to be successful in the CAT adjusting field. That is why VAS will only accept students that are committed to becoming top tier CAT adjusters that efficiently produce quality work product in a professional manner. VAS isn’t looking for students, they are looking for dedication.
Catastrophe adjusting isn’t for everyone. Do you have what it takes?
